Tama 6 Piece Drum Set

I’ve become a big fan of the Tama stands since picking up a few of their shorties for drum use. The biggest pro for me is that the final (smallest) boom adjustment is very solid and the knobs feel secure. This is a failure point I’ve encountered with the “industry standard” brand. I have a 6 piece kit that I am using this microphone set for. I have never used any other drum mics, so I cannot compare it to others. However, I am very satisfied by the quality these mics provide. I am a former professional, but now retired and playing and recording drums as a hobby. For this purpose, these mics are fine.

I use the mic setup on my 6 piece drum set. The recordings are for my own use only, as a hobbyist. These mics have worked well for me. Their recording quality more than meets my basic needs. I cannot comment on how they compare with other drum mics, since these are the only ones I have ever used. They were very easy to set up. The clip on attachments worked perfectly for me. Although, be aware of the need for some sort of mic stand/attachment for the bass drum mic.

I am happy with every piece of this set up.

This cart is a back/life saver. I can put my entire very oversized 5 piece drum kit on it as well as cymbal case, mixer board, rug, mic stand, pedal bag, and throne. Wheels are smooth. Am ordering the optional shelf kit next week.

Love this Mic. I was using an A tech headset Mic before. This one is much better. It doesn't pick up as much of the drum set.
