This pancake lens is a terrific value and quality lens for a more versatile and lightweight photography experience. Great for your kit for travels, portraiture or staging the perfect fixed lens shot.

I bought this lens for my GX85 because it's a flat pancake lens, and the camera will still fit in a large coat pocket with the lens attached. It seems sharp even wide open at f1.7. The GX85 came with a 12-32mm kit lens, and I got the 20mm for situations where the kit lens is too slow and where I wanted a shallow DOF. After using this one, the kit lens has remained in a bag and the 20mm lives on the camera almost full time. I didn't expect the lens to be as good as it is because of the low price. However, it feels solid and well built, and it's a perfect match for a small camera.

Pro studio shooter with occasional documentary field work, 5DmkIII and a quiver of EF L series lenses in my kit, I shoot stills only zero video. I picked up an RP for a travel/snapshot/casual camera and secondary body after the M50 I got in February wasn’t doing the job with its cropped sensor. I am wildly impressed with the image quality in such a compact body and the autofocus system is awesome. Custom controls setup as robustly as a pro body. I paired it with the 40mm f2.8 pancake and the control ring adapter to hold me over until Canon releases an RF-mount pancake, but until then this setup is fast, lightweight, and sharp. It goes where you don’t want to lug your DSLR kit without sacrificing image quality and I’m looking forward to seeing more RF lenses released in the future. Total ripper field camera for stills, ignore the vloggers ranting otherwise.

I purchased this bag for my Nikon Z50 with pancake style 16-50mm lens and possibly the 50-250mm lens. The bag will barely accommodate the Z50 with pancake lens. No room for anything else. All of this is not the fault of the bag. Like all Think Tank products, the build quality is superb and the design is very well planned. I purchased the Mirrorless Mover 20 and will be returning the 10. The 20 can not only accommodate the aforementioned Z50 kit package, but I can use the bag for my Nikon Z6 or Z7. As I mentioned earlier, there is nothing wrong with the bag, if your kit is small enough to fit.

This case is perfect for the Pen-f with the Olympus EZ kit lens or any other pancake lens. Padding is excellent.

I wanted a pair of pancake primes to use with my Panasonic GX9 to make a coat pocketable kit for the winter. So I got this 14mm plus the Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f1.7 II. So I have been surprised by the image quality, AF speed, and reliability of this small Pancake lens.
