Mounted this Hoya HD3 CP on the Sony 24-70mm f2/.8 GM lens attached to a A7Rll. For me, this filter was a must have. The quality is a perfect match for today's high resolution digital cameras. 5 |

My Tamron 24-70mm 2.8 G2 fits perfectly even with the lens hood facing forward. Well built, great protection. 5 |

I have a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 lens that i use quite a bit when walking around. Somewhere along the line I lost my lens hood and really missed having it. Without the hood i would get more lens flare and other artifacts in my photos. I finally broke down and purchased it when all my looking throughout the house turned up nothing. Fits perfectly and works like the original. 5 |

Tamron has it going on! I have already pre-ordered 24-70mm f/2.8 G2, this lens should be as good or better. This Tamron G2 lens is an absolutely awesome lens, It takes a slight amount to adjust to the zoom being on the front ring and focus being on the back ring, since all Canons are the other way around. Tamron could have made the switches a little more recessed so you don't accidentally turn AF off, or change the VC settings by mistake. But, I am very impressed with quality of build, features and superb, pin sharp pictures that it rewards me with. By the way, I love that the tripod mount is already Arca Swiss. 5 |

I bought this lens mainly for my A7S, for shooting video. It does not deliver the same insane standard of image quality as the FE 55mm on a A7R. For photos, the FE 24-70mm is very capable on A7S 12mp sensor, flawless for HD video. The lenses shortcomings are visible in the edges on the A7R, slightly soft. When I first got the A7S, I mostly used it with a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 (via Metabones FE to EF lens adapter). The results were very pleasant, but the lens was just incredibly oversized compared to the small camera body. After running into some autofocus obstacles and mount occasional connection issues, I finally switched to the native FE 24-70mm.Loosing one stop is not a big deal with the A7S incredibly high ISO performance. I found my self stopping down to a smaller aperture anyway, very hard to track focus manually on f/2.8 in video. The OSS works very well on this lens, autofocus is quite decent. Very happy with it and do not regret selling the Tamron. 5 |

Upgraded from the kit EF 28-135mm lens. Other 2.8 zoom lens I considered was the full frame compatible EF 24-70mm (but it weighs twice as much, isn't as wide on a crop sensor camera, and lacks IS), the Tamron 28-75mm (probably better for portaits, but lacks IS, no USM, no distance info for ETTL flash, and is supposedly warmer in color), and the Tamron 17-50mm (no IS, no USM, and no distance info). Choose the EF-S 17-55mm because I may never go full frame, and was reviewed as sharper than EF 24-70mm along with the other advantages. Only have had the lens for one month, but it has met my lofty expectations for such an expensive upgrade. The pictures seem sharp wide open and the bokeh is great. The IS should make this a great low light lens as well, although I haven't tested this yet. My biggest concern was the reported dust issue, but I always use filters on all my lenses and I don't see any dust. 5 |

This fits perfectly on the 77mm lens. I used it on a Canon 24-70mm lens and a Tamron 70-200mm lens. I will be using this alot and will be ordering one for my smaller lens. 5 |
