Tamron 70 180 F2 8

I use this on my Tamron 70-180 f/2.8. It does it's job well - not much more to say about! 5 |

I use the Sony 200-600mm for sports photography in daylight, but once the sun starts to set, or indoors, that lens struggles. Instead of spending $2500 on a 70-200 G Master, I opted for the much less expensive Tamron 70-180 f/2.8. No complaints at all. The lens is sharp (images after significant cropping look more than fine by me), and auto focus is super fast on a Sony A7 iii. I ended up shooting a polo match with the 70-180 once the sun started to set. After culling through everything, 70% of the keepers were from the 70-180 - which is remarkable given the distance to the action at the far end of the field. No complaints with this lens, which is light enough to hand hold; comparatively I mount my beloved 200-600 on a monopod. In bright daylight, the 200-600 is still my go to lens for sports - but in any other situation I shoot with the Tamron with no problems whatsoever. I would buy this lens again in a heartbeat and have no reason to not recommend it to someone shooting fast paced sports. I shoot 200mm on an APS-C, but that is effectively 300mm, so I can't speak to the loss of 20mm versus a 70-200. 5 |

Like the superslim frame fits perfect on my tamron 70-180. Great optical quality. 5 |

I have the Tamron 70-180 2.8, added this so can take graduation pictures from wide to telephoto and outdoor sporting events of my grandson. Just shot some birds at feeder and all pictures were perfect for the situation. Worked well using my Sony A7iii and 6500. BH photo is the best, fast shipping and easy checkout. I always tell others to try BH for best price and selection. 5 |

Love this lens. Sold my Tamron 70-180 to buy this one and could not be happier. I shoot a lot of concerts and changing lenses in the middle of a big active crowd is not ideal so this huge focal range allows me to only bring one lens and never miss the shot. I still have some primes at home that I will use occasionally but this is the lens that will live on my camera 90% of the time. It is heavy, large and expensive but totally worth it. If you're only going to get one lens, make it this one. Recommended. 5 |

I had to upgrade my old Tamron 70-180 to this one. Pictures are sharp and auto focus is fast. Has stabilization. Great cheap alternative to Sony 70-200. You won’t regret getting this lens! It is also light! 5 |

I got a great deal on a used Tamron 180/3.5 SP macro and wanted to use the same 77mm filters as my Nikon lenses take. I put a step-up ring on it, and got this to put on it when not shooting. Actually quite nicely made. 5 |
