Tamron Lenses For Nikon D3500

The Nikon D500 DSLR is a super camera and is compatible with all my Nikon lenses previously purchased with my D3500. When coupled with my Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens the system is just fantastic. The extra battery, case and memory card are a plus for great savings. Thanks B and H! 5 |

I ordered two spare batteries for my Nikon d3500 and they came super fast. And we're exactly what I expected! I will definitely order from B&H again! 5 |

This is the ONLY Tamron lens I own. I have several Sigma Art and Nikon lenses for my Nikon D850 camera bodies. I wanted to add the 35 1.4 to my collection for weddings. Specifically the dramatic wide angle shots and for small areas like hotels or on the dance floor. So naturally, I purchased the Sigma Art since I have their 85mm and their 50mm 1.4 that perform exceptionally well. I ignored the subpar reviews thinking “Sigma can’t be that bad- they have amazing lenses”. Well, it was that bad. So I returned it. Anyway, after significant research and reading, all signs were pointing to the Tamron 35mm 1.4 new release. My husband basically said “what do you have to lose?” So we ordered it. I’ve used it at a wedding and a couple sessions now and it performs exceptional for both wide shots and up close. I have found that the sweet spot for this lens is f2.2. It gives a nice Bokeh and tac sharp. I highly recommend this lens. I go with what works the best- and Tamron got this one right! 5 |

I own some other Tamron lenses and have been very pleased with them. 1st off, I shoot with a Nikon Z9 and a D850. I found the Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 to be an excellent lens and a great value. The lens was a bit soft at f/2.8 but was tack Sharpe at other f-stops and mm. I could have adjusted the lens to sharpen it at f/2.8 but I did not want to compromise in the other f-stops. Plus the minor softness at f/2.8 can be improved in post processing. 5 |

Previously I'd only used Tamron lenses. This lens has me hooked on Nikon lenses. The SWM makes for virutally silent focusing. Awesome picture quality. 5 |

All of the products I ordered from B&H (tripod & two lenses--105 Nikon macro & 18-270 Tamron) were of the highest quality. I have used the three product above for years with 100% satisfaction. This lens will do the same. 5 |

This lens is a first rate piece of glass. Period. As the other reviewers have said, the sharpness, contrast, color rendering, bokeh, are all amazing. One of those lenses you just want to use and use. At the store, I compared it to the Nikon 1.4 on my D850 and while I didn't carefully set up the shots using a target and tripod, I did take the same photo with both lenses and when I compared them both in my viewfinder and, more importantly, in Lightroom later, the Tamron easily was the choice lens. The only advantage Nikon had was in weight but I'd still chose the Tamron even if it weighted another half pound. Also, my lens was spot-on when I went to see if there was any lens fine-tuning to be done. There wasn't. (Which is nice because, in the past, some Tamrons have needed fine-tuning.) 5 |

Tamron has a game changer with their new line of lenses. Absolutely tack sharp. Nikon and Canon better watch out. 5 |

Tamron makes great lenses. I have used them with 35mm cameras such as the Canon A-1 and the Nikon F-3HP and have found them to be clear and sharp. They are easy to use and usually at a better price than Canon and Nikon lenses. As a Crime Scene Photographer for the Bristol Tennessee Police Department I became very adept at 1:1, micro, and macro photography which has carried over into my retirement years as a hoby. I now enjoy photographing nature and searching for unususal plant, animal, and insect life. I have found this lense to be easy to use and a great addition to the Canon 60D camera I am now using. The photographs I take are unusually clear and sharp with a wide renge of applications. The lense is light weight and rugged, focuses easy, and is simple to use. I really have found no down side to the lense at all. I would recomend the product to anyone who enjoys this type of photography. 5 |
