Target Digital Camera Sale

I recently came to NYC for an event and brought with me my 6 One Shot Digital Target (instead of my 24 target). I liked the conveniece of this smaller target as it fit into the front pocket of my camera bag so easily. My exposures and white balance were perfect! What a time saver in post computer work. This little target hangs around your neck on a lanyard and conveniently clips off in a second........I shot over 1000 pics in 2 days , so the 6 One Shot Target was ideal to use. 5 |

I have used this digital target quite a few times now. I first use it to make sure my camera is accurately metering the lighting correctly (I check the histogram to see if I have 3 spikes showing.....dark, gray, and white). Then I take a shot to set up the correct white balance using the target and then I'm ready to go. It's very accurate and works great!!! It's handy to have along (folds up easily) and is useful as a white reflector on the back. I would recommend it highly!! It comes with a DVD that explains it's use very well. 5 |

Nothing like it for the price and target use--the mirrorless compact digital camera. Genuine quality build, secure and stable, elegant and versatile controls, everything is snug and secure. I used it this week and found the tripod a valuable addition to the project. No other travel tripod that I have found folds to the 12.5-in. length. It is nearly chest high--a quite usable reach--when extended, and I am six feet tall. I absolutely LOVE this tripod, the first of my long photographic life. I carry it along with a mirrorless camera and filters in a Tenba Classic 2 minimalist bag, with room to spare to add another small camera someday. I upload the IR photography result made possible by this WONDERFUL tripod. 5 |

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old. 5 |

I got these to help hold my FoCal target and a light bar that was on sale a couple weeks earlier. FoCal wants a lot of light on the target. the price was right for these. I am not intending to use these for any heavy duty applications. 5 |

got these to hold my FoCal target and one for a bright light bar that was on sale the previous week. I used these to help calibrate my lens to my camera. turns out, FoCal wants a lot of light on the target. The price was right 5 |

I use the digital target for accurate exposures and perfect color by using it for setting a custom white balance. The target is well made and is a must have item for anyone doing portraiture or any color critical work. 5 |

The 24 One Shot Digital Target by PhotoVision is exactly what you expect it to be from the description. It works great and folds up nicely for storage. The most amazing thing is the DVD that comes with it. Wow. I was really surprised. How interesting could it be? PhotoVision makes some good tutorial videos and I guess they wanted to take this as an opportunity to give you a freebie to get you hooked on their videos. One example of the DVD content is an exercise where the host walks you through setting up a custom white balance. But he does with with the target farther and farther away (filling up less and less of the camera's filed of view). After doing this I was amazed at how little area is used by a Canon 7D for determining CWB. Very interesting and helpful tips in a great bonus DVD. 5 |

I have PhotoVision's Digital Target Bundle and have used it regularly. However, I purchased the 24 Digital Target as a compliment because I needed something that was large enough for use with telephoto lenses as well support medium distance (85mm primes) and teles (200mm primes) lenses. The 24 is perfect for any focal length. In fact, I purchased two - one for each gig bag. While it takes a bit of practice to achieve the ideal histogram, its well worth the effort. Now, when I set a custom white balance at the beginning of a shoot - weather its sports or portraiture - the balance is perfect and I rarely need to make any changes in post production. Why use AWB and hope for the best when you can use this tool and get perfect white balance every time and eliminate the time required in post to do the same. I highly recommend it. 5 |
