I imagine Thrustmasters target market was those that could afford these and are serious simmers. I will say that it is a great unit. They are heavy duty, metal. The actuation of the pedals and brakes are very smooth. You cannot feel any detents in change of direction. They center perfectly when released. There are plenty of adjustments in spring load, angles, etc. They really shine when flying a helicopter. I had to mount a board to the back to prevent them from moving when depressing the pedals and brakes. Part of this is because it is sitting on carpet, but I suspect you would on almost any surface. When comparing these against the Pro Flight Rudder Pedals I had prior, there is no comparison, these win hand down. The Pro Flight feels like a toy compared to the TPR. If you have the money, you will not be disappointed. 5 |
