Tascam Bluetooth Adapter

Lots of great features about this little wonder. There is no better TASCAM AK-BT1 Bluetooth Adapter for Portacapture X8 Recorder than this one.

I've been using a Ninja V as a timecode server to bridge my bluetooth-only Tascam with my other BNC timecode cameras. That worked fine, but I don't want the Ninja for every shoot. It's working as advertised and I can't complain... but I'm going to anyway: I want an UltraSync Ultra or something. Something that's a combination of this and the UltraSync One. Something that can connect via cable, bluetooth or RF from the same box.

I needed a replacement CD player for my aging (and starting to fail) 5 Disc Carousel CD player that I purchased several decades ago.  After researching various models of similar build and price point I decided on the Tascam CD-200BT.  B&H Photo processed and shipped my order promptly.  After installation of this unit to my hi-fi system I can say the Tascam CD-200BT does not disappoint with its solid build quality and simplicity of operation. The audio playback performance of this unit, both in CD and Bluetooth operation, has been excellent in my evaluations so far.  The Bluetooth receiver pairs up effortlessly with the devices I have linked.  I particularly like that this unit can store in its memory up to 8 Bluetooth devices without having to redo the whole pairing process when switching back and forth with other Bluetooth devices that have been previously paired in the unit’s memory.  The fact that this model has a Bluetooth receiver was an added bonus for me as this saved the additional expense of adding a separate Bluetooth receiver to my hi-fi system that I was also planning to add.  By not needing a separate Bluetooth receiver this saves having to use another AUX input on one’s hi-fi system AND with the CD-200BT unit having its own AUX input as well this in essence adds an additional AUX input function available for one’s hi-fi system.  With Tascam’s reputation for professional grade audio products this unit should serve me well for some time.

I use this adapter to attach my Tascam DR100 to my Canon 550D. Works great.

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient.

Very sturdy adapter. I used it for a Tascam DR-40 recorder, and placed it on a short table-top mic stand. Works great, and you can adjust the ball joint so that it points the right way.

Simple adapter to connect mini-jack cable to XLR input. Using with Tascam DR-60DMkII for sound recording for video when using a small Audio-Technica lav mic that has it's own phantom power. Works great.

I use this pigtail adapter for my Tascam DR-05 recorder to Rode SmartLav+ mic. I really like that it has a 90 degree at the plug. Makes it a better fit in my pocket. Really cheap price too.

I have a Tascam DR 40 audio recover with two XLR inputs on the bottom. By plugging a Kopul 1/4" TRS Male to 3-pin XLR adapter into the recorder, and then plugging the adapter into the Main Out on my Mackie mixer, the audio recorder almost becomes part of the mixer. Keeps everything neat and manageable.

Very useful adapter for laptop w/o Bluetooth. Easy to install, and works great.
