The best wireless microphone for my iphone. Recommended.

The logic behind this product is pure simplicity. If you are working gigs regularly, it's easy to see how much time and fiddling you'll save by not having to thread on (and off) dozens of microphone clips per job. Plus, it will eliminate the possibility of damaging the fine 5/8-27 threads from accidental cross-threading. The hex-shaped pin prevents the microphone from spinning / loosening itself when attached horizontally to a boom arm. And Triad-Orbit was smart enough to make this work with any standard mic stand or boom -- not some proprietary hardware attachment. They provide adaptors for 3/8 European threaded stands, and a 1/4-20 threaded stud for cameras -- plus an extra set of set screws in case you lose any in the backstage darkness! I was impressed with the high-quality packaging, and the couplers themselves seem to be manufactured to a high standard. I've never regretted buying high quality tools, and this is no exception. I'll be buying more.

I teach at a journalism school and this is downright the best ENG microphone in the industry. This thing is like a rock. We had a student drop one in water during a flood while filming her documentary in India. After returning, we let it dry out for about a week and the thing still works beautifully. Omni-directional microphones capture way too much ambient sound, especially in noisy situations. This has just enough cardioid to make it directional, but allow flexibility if the interviewee turns their head or the sound trails off.

The wireless mic works well even over 100+' away. I teach outdoors in a large field and want to communicate with a group under a tent. This was exactly what I what I was looking for.

I use these to charge our Rode Wireless Go II microphones. I teach high school video/film production so these are used a lot. So far, they have withstood the abuse of teenagers. That being said, they do not feel as solid as some other options. For example, I have the Hollyland Lark Pro and the charging case for that is very well constructed. This feels cheap and plasticky, but so far it works.

I bought this microphone as a replacement to the Sennheiser ME2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphone System and I have to say, it is amazing quality. I can't even tell the difference between the manufactured Sennhesier and this Pearstone. I use this microphone in corporate studio shoots, in house astrology horoscope shoots, and for weddings. Highly impressed with the sound this lavalier produces for its price.
