I have 4 of these. They took the place of random storage in plastic bags and the bottom of drawers. I like them because they are waterproof and secure, yet easy to open without breaking a fingernail, unlike some other competitors. Not expensive and highly recommended. 5 |

I am a graphics teacher at the high school level. We usually go through a few of the cheap tripods each year... plastic breaks, aluminum legs bend, stuff happens. I am now done replacing them because I plan on only buying these tripods. They are incredibly strong, have great build quality, and are extremely versatile. Being able to switch from portrait to landscape is very handy. It is a little on the heavy side, but I think that makes it stronger and more stable. The ballhead is smooth, and only requires one hand to reposition. I really like how the quick-release plate can snap in without touching the tripod, and it is square, so there is no right or wrong direction to put it on. 5 |
