I wanted a inexpensive bass a that was versatile, sounded great and had a sharp look. So I looked around at basses in the same price range and could not find one that had better reviews or had more to offer than this bass. I knew Ibanez makes excellent guitars all around, even the cheaper ones. I bought it without putting my hands on it and hoped for the best. I am very glad I did. It looks great right out of the box and had a really solid feel. Nothing about it looks or feels cheap. I was impressed. It has an excellent feel and plays great. Anyone who has played a lot of guitars will tell you this is the most important thing. It's gotta be fun to play and this bass is. My fingers move without effort over the frets and my palm moves smoothly up and down the neck. Great action and a tight response from the strings by finger or pick. Plus it stays in tune longer than any bass I've ever owned. The sound is very versatile. I can take it from very clean jazz style to heavy, dirty rock stuff with just my playing style. When I really exploit the active pick-ups it really expands the sound pallet. I really can get any tone for any style I want very easily. I think anyone who wants a excellent bass for a cheap price should look no further. 5 |

Excellent! It does everything I need and more for my pedal steel and telecaster setup, and built in effects can so easily be added or backed off on the fly. Now to see if it can last, being a pretty cheap mixer Ive read varying reports on Behringer, fingers crossed... 5 |
