Telephone Conference Speaker

It's like the best telephone connection ever.

I use this for our camping tent. It sets up very easily. An added perk is being able to use this as a phone conference speaker.

Very useful drum kits & table conference settings if you arrive late to mic speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Speaker really improves sound of conference calls over monitor speakers, and the flashing lights to remind you when a meeting is starting is really handy. Much more useful than a standard dock.

Our company has a boardroom with an 18-seat conference table and room to bring in extra chairs along the perimeter. We use a Chromebox for Meetings setup for video conferencing for our multinational organization. The Chromebox kit included inexpensive speaker/mic pods but they had insufficient coverage and the wiring can't be hidden. We are using two MT503 units that are daisy-chained together. The speaker sound quality is excellent and the active mic system is impressive. Absolute clarity for all parties in the conversation.

This speaker is perfect! I love the look of it, it sounds amazing and I use it for conference calls and it is the best speaker- headset I have used for calls. I've been told that I sound very clear using the speaker phone.

Great device for conference calls and the speaker is amazing. Plenty of ports to expand what you computer lacks. Easy to connect and get started.

I bought 2 of these for a last minute shoot where i needed to be a long way from the speaker at a conference I was filming. and the quality was good!

Got this set of 2 lavs last week and used it for a conference. Connected it with my Olympus EM-1ii to record the presentation. Here are my observations: 1 lav - When used for a conference with one speaker, it worked flawlessly. The sound really came loud and clear. No background noise. However, as suggested, I lower the gain in advance to ensure the sound was clear. The transmitter (used by the speaker) has 2 buttons to adjust the gain/volume. I also adjusted the volume in my camera. 2 lavs - When used with a 2 speakers presentation, I had mixed results. The first 2-speaker conference had some challenges. Each classroom had a wi-fi router. When recording, I noticed that some times I could only hear partially the speaker. Bottomline, the recording cannot be used because the voice has blanks. I did notice that it mainly happened when the speaker passed in front of the wi-fi router. So I think there was some conflict with the 2.4 Gh. In this room. When I recorded the next conference, it was also with 2 speakers, but in a different room. That recording and the following one went flawlessly. So I think there was some conflict in the first room. These next recordings gave me more confidence with these lavs, however in the future I will make sure I test the setup in the room in advance to avoid these kind of situations. Overall, I am very happy with these microphones and specially for how affordable they are. Also because I can use 2 microphones with one receiver.

I was tired of using speaker phones, or a mic on a webcam, for conference calls, and in a 1200 Sq Ft room I also got tired of the people at the other end not being able to hear very well. So I purchased an Audio-Technica AT-MX341A SmartMixer and three AUPRO45W hanging mics, and got a great sound! They are hung about 8 feet apart in a triangle pattern, about 6 inches from the ceiling, and they feed into a VOIP softphone. They really have a fantastic sensitivity (I had to set the gain on the mics at about 2) and calls to lan lines and cell phones have yielded no complaints. Can you hear ME now?
