Television Stand Average Price

It works as expected. The quality of the grip is above average as well as the price. 5 |

Does what it should, just an average mic stand, good enough for a typical vocal mic. Bought it because it was so cheap. 5 |

This is NOT... I repeat, NOT your average mic stand. Everything about it screams quality and durability. Solid in every way... from the legs to the knobs and the boom itself. I've found my new exclusive brand for mic stands. Yes, K&M are a bit more pricey. No worries, you will not be buying a bunch of replacements over the years. If you're serious about your craft, make the leap to K&M. 5 |

I'm a television and film professional and I purchase Matthews products every chance I get. This stand will not disappoint. 5 |

I needed a stand that will get over the average person or allow a 6' + person to duck a little rather than to walk through my shot. It sets up well and comes with a bag. It also collapses to a very small size. No issues that I can think of. 5 |

Yes, this is a golden investment, especially if you have high ceilings. You'll want to take advantage of those, because the average height of a omni light stand is 8 feet which is only two feet higher the average person. This can end up making them too bright and light less of the surrounding space. So, get an arm and and make the stand taller, and then stick the light on top of that and not feel great about yourself. This is also good if you don't want to have a light stand in the shot. Put on the arm and have the light overhanging the scene. And get a sandbag while you're at it. 5 |

Excellent tripod. I am 6'4 tall, and this tripod can not only stand tall enough to have the camera at eye level for me (with an average sized ball head), but it can also collapse down to within a couple inches of the ground for macro shots, or whatever else the particular photo you're trying to get will require. To top it all off, it is very sturdy even with a full size DSLR and battery grip attached. The only drawback might be the weight, but this can be accomplished by buying the carbon fiber version of the tripod. I just didn't feel like spending the extra money, as it wasn't a huge weight difference and wasn't a big deal to me. 5 |

I thought I was getting an average quality light stand but -- for the money -- it's amazing. It doesn't weigh much, it's quick to set up, and it will hold 10lbs of lighting easily (will probably hold more, but I haven't tried). The only negative I can think of is that the air-cushioned feature doesn't work very smoothly, the load kind of hops on the air damping. But, that's a silly complaint of an otherwise-amazing stand. 5 |

I bought this based on a) Manfrotto stand reviews, b) wanted something a little taller than average and c) already own and love a Manfrotto tripod. I have been using this product now for a couple weeks and it is a solid piece of equipment. It will not easily knock over and is very stable and highly adjustable to create a perfect shot. 5 |

For the price I had average expectations but it works even better than advertised! AND of course B&H service is outstanding. I look here now when shopping. 5 |
