Television Stands For Events

We are a community television station and use the camera to videotape various community events. It is easy to use and is a great second camera for a 2-camera shoot.

We produce television. Some of our recording is at live events where the background noise is deafening. I am always stunned that interviews come through with crisp clear audio and just a low hum of background noise.We depend on this microphone to give us sharp clear sound and it delivers.

I have quite a bit of experience with all kinds of stands used in both television studio production and travel situations, and this seems to be really sturdy and an exceptional value. I also want to recognize the great customer service on the part of both B&H and Photoflex. The bag with this kit had damage when I opened the box, and both entities cooperated to get a replacement to me quickly.

Bought this to avoid using light stands at local events. Works fantastically due to the design. You will find yourself using this all the time. I've used it as a cold shoe for my SB-900 speedlight, to hold up a tri grip diffuser, to clamp onto my car, light stands, and stages..and it's got a strong grip. I know some have said it clamps too hard..I think you need that. The more you need to hold..buy more Justin Clamps! I bought 2 !!

Bought 2 of these to use as speaker stands for outdoor events. Really impressed with build quality. Very sturdy even at full height. The crank mechanism is easy to use and feels very solid.

These mic stands and fixed booms are perfect for our meetings and events. Most importantly, they are lightweight.

We needed speaker stands for the many events we have. We ordered these and they arrived one day later! They are doing exactly what we need them to do and holding up to the movement of putting them up and down.

I needed a solid portable backdrop for parties and events. LOVE this one. Very heavy duty and stable but light, simple to use, and it's huge vertically and horizontally. The only minor issue is when you put it up by yourself. When the horizontal bar is attached to the two stands and you raise the stands, the fit is so tight (benefit!) that you have to raise one side a few feet, lock it, then raise the opposite side a few feet, and so on because raising one too much will pull one of the stands inward. It's totally manageable, and other than that this is a wonderful backdrop.

I use these stands for my outdoor events using 50# speakers. They go up and down with ease and project the sound further than a 6' stand with the same volume level. They have a large footprint for windy conditions which is a great safety feature. I use the leveling leg most of the time and it is a great addition to the stand. Pay the extra for the leg and you won't regret it.
