I'm a television and film professional and I purchase Matthews products every chance I get. This stand will not disappoint. 5 |

If you'd like more flexibility with your television, then hanging on the wall, and you want to be able to move it to various locations, this is the only stand to get. It's completely stable, infinitely strong, reasonably priced and very easy to move. I highly recommend it. 5 |

This is the second FPS6000 stand I purchased. Both are used to hold and elevate LED Smart TV's to prevent mounting to apartment walls. This stand is holding a Samsung 49 UHD Curved television and the other stand is holding a 40 Samsung LED television. The 49 television met the weight requirements for the mount and the TV is attached using VESA mount extension arms attached to the mount (photo attached). The stand is well constructed and sturdy enough to hold the television without shaking even when raised. It definitely needs to be on a level surface. The legs can extend further which will provide additional stabilization. I would suggest if using for speaker or display - to add a sandbag weight particularly if it will be in high traffic area. The stand is light enough to pack and carry in light stand bag when used to hold the 40 TV when used as mobile display. 5 |

the arc Soundbar sits in front of the television on a stand and I have added a pair of symfonisk bookshelf speakers to the side of the main sitting area to create a surround sound effect.I hope at a future date to add the subwoofer. 5 |

So remove the center column out of your C-Stand, put this in it's place and... voila... background stand! 5 |

It works great, but if you are going to stand on it, you need to step in the center (right near the center - where that foot will be, and then bring up your other foot). If you step near the edge, it will tip. You get used to it. It is as solid as a cheaper folding chair. So it's not the exact same firmness as a ladder or solid stool, but for something that folds up small and compact, it is good and fine. For sitting it's for sure good, and it even comes with a cushion. People like the idea of how it opens and closes - telescoping. 5 |

Wow, what a difference. I was able to get my monitors exactly where I wanted them. And setup was very easy. Plus, this stand comes with all the tools you need. This computer stand does everything I expected from it. The two arms are multi jointed, so the monitors can be orientated to suit any configuration - the two arms are always at the same level. This stand appears to fit 75 and 100mm VESA mounting holes. So I had to make sure monitors had them. Many of the newer super thin monitors don't have any VESA mounts at all. Also, I had to be sure to position the monitors as close to the stand's center pole as possible. The base is nice, heavy and wide. But by positioning the monitors close to the center pole, I was able to better balance it. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.] 5 |

I'm using this to get a Godox AD 400 with Beauty Dish off center, so I can take pictures with it directly over a subject's head [i.e. light stand to my left by 12 inches]. The price was sooo reasonable, I went for it; however, it seems a 12 inch or maybe 16 inch unit would have been a little better, as I have to be conscious of the 8 pound limit of my light stand - and having a 7 pound monolight 12 inches away from the center is a stretch of physics. However - so far, so good! 5 |

I did not have any problems with assembly others have reported. The center column is a heavy cast part, with a chromed steel riser shaft. The column contains a counterbalance spring. The bottom piece is heavy gauge steel, perhaps 5/32. The platform is lighter gauge stamped, with a rim around the edge to make it stiff. The lock knob is chromed steel with a knurled finish -- no plastic to break. The entire unit is stiff, no wiggle or rattle. An optional antiskid pad with adhesive back is provided for the platform. The pad adhesive is stamped, "3M".This is really a simple "lab jack", a device used in laboratories. The durability and ruggedness are above consumer products. The design of a center column, instead of the consumer solution of perimeter legs, will decide for you. In my technical environment, the stand had to fit on a repurposed "invalid table". If pushed toward the edge, a consumer stand with discrete "chair legs" would have fallen off the back. The solid base of this unit is what I need for my application. I can fit a monitor or laptop on the top, and a trackball on the base, It shadows the table less than a consumer stand. It won't fit every need, but it may fit yours very well. 5 |
