Tenor Practice Pad

This drum pad is exactly what I was looking for. I knew it wasn’t capable of programming different kits but wanted it for extra sounds to add to my acoustic drum kit. I played it with a choir for a song and people really liked the sound being played through a small powered speaker. Had the ride, tom, snare and kick setup and it really went well with the song. I haven’t noticed any cross talk but if the drum stick is too close to parallel you can hit two pads at the same time with the tip and shaft of the the drum stick. Great for practice with headphones. My nephew had a blast playing the cowbell and other tones while his dad and I jammed. Might need to get him one for Christmas. The adjustability with tuning and reverb gives more options to try to match pitch and ambiance. The sensitivity setting works but is not fabulous. Have not tried hooking it up to my computer yet but imagine it would work well. I would recommend this for someone looking for something to practice on or just play around with. I sawed the top off of a cheap music stand that I got for free and the mount plate slides over it perfectly with just a little bit of duct tape so it holds firm. Can’t angle it but I can adjust the height. For the price this drum pad is totally worth it. If you are more serious about performing live you’ll probably want something more versatile but this works perfect as it is intended.

The NINA Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment thingey worked great for my tenor guitar but the mandolin still was not snug enough so I ordered a second set and wrapped them around the first and it fits great now.

I play tenor sax and wished I saw a review like this. The harmony portion is based on singer and key of c instruments. Just add two flats to music for Bb instruments in my case and diel in new key for all harmony presets including harmony pedal and it will be spot on. People love the effects it produces. I still have to do my part.

A friend was looking for a mic to use on his tenor sax, so we spent an afternoon trying out a bunch of mics I had around the studio. Surprisingly the 545SD made it all the way through to the final round (along with a few mics youd probably expect). Id say the 545SD in my experience is a bit brighter than the SM-57. Whereas the SM-57 can sometimes sound a bit tubby or honky on some instruments, the 545SDs tone works well when a slightly bright, clean tone is desired.

Very well built. Very stable and adjustable for different sizes of alto and tenor saxophone. Also adjust the height.

This is a nice, good-sounding mic; I have used it primarily for bass and tenor vocals so far. It has a very strong Figure-8 polar pattern, and the blue color is a bit more purple-grey than most pictures suggest. The included shock mount works well, and includes extra elastic and an additional screw thread adapter. My only (and minor) quibble is that the case has no easy place to stow the user manual; this is hardly a problem.

I could not believe how strong and great this case is. Very lightweight so it is one that I will use all the time. The inside is molded to fit the Tenor Ukulele perfectly, the inside compartment has enough room for all your little items and the outside one has a big enough pocket for an iPad. Sure if I was a traveling pro I would have a fiberglass one that costs hundred of $$. I will easily give this one 5 stars.

This pelican case was the perfect size to safely transport our son’s tenor sax without worry of it being damaged in any way. We used it to ship his vintage sax across the country for refurbishment and it made it to its destination with no problem! Pelican cases are virtually indestructible and you would be hard pressed to find a better transport container for almost anything! We used an electric carving knife to precisely cut out the pattern for his sax after we traced its outline on the foam. Came out much nicer than removing the foam cubes by hand!

Awesome product.  super strong, sturdy, and sets up in seconds.  Holds alto or tenor saxes securely.  The brace that touches the lower part of the bell is adjustable up/down to accommodate alto/tenor and to enable you to avoid hitting any of the big tone holes on that part of the horn.  Also accommodates a peg for a clarinet or flute (sold separately - or you can buy a different model that comes with the peg).
