I was constantly knocking my exposure off because I was touching the rear thumb wheel inadvertently. This thumb rest solved the problem. And also gave me a better grip on the camera. If like me you like to have the exposure compensation on the rear thumb wheel it might be a good add-on to think of 5 |

I use this for slow shutter speeds and small apertures. Works great because it has no kinks, the thumb rest has unscrewed itself and gotten lost, and the steel rod inside moves smoothly thru its casing. Does it work better than one costing one quarter of the price of one of these? Way. It's the Linhof of shutter release cables. 5 |

Fits like a glove. Have on an extended hand grip along with a thumb rest. Camera fits snugly in this case. Perfect case to your camera scratch free in your bag. Leather is soft and supple. It has notched cut out for the straps as well. 5 |

This gives me the grip I need to feel comfortable with the camera. I use this but not the thumb rest. The difference between this and the Q2 grip is the texture finish matches the Monochrom which is different than the Q2. The grip must be removed to access battery and SD card. I don't find that annoying - it's very easily done. 5 |

In reading reviews for this vs the Leica model, I agree that the small angle of the the thumb rest (which the Leica model is not supposed to have), makes a big difference for comfort and handling. I don't know why I waiting so long to get the Match Tech model. From the photo, you can see the angle I'm referring to. 5 |
