Terminal Emulator Mac Serial For Cisco Switches

I use it to communicate to Cisco switches and it works great!

Good switch. Easy to set up, and add to the Omada platform. I like the fact that it consumes 40 watts instead of 250 watts that my Cisco 4948 used. If you compare these switches to Cisco, you will be disappointed, but keeping an open mind that it is a different product platform and for a home lab or small business, these are good switches.

When our Cisco SG200-50 switch died, this is what I chose to replace it and WOW!! It is easy to configure and offers just about every bell and whistle you could want. Ours dovetails with a a UniFi Gateway, 2 UniFi APs and three of their 8 port switches. The POE capacity is amazing and it powers the 2 APs, the 3 switches and our 2 outdoor cameras with ease. UniFi does have a learning curve when it comes to their controller software, but You Tube videos abound on how to learn it. Clearly one of the best investments I've ever made.

We have used the Cisco SG series switches for many years and were disappointed when the line was discontinued but the new CBS line is just as good. Some minor variations in how the software is laid out but otherwise, they are just as easy to use as the SG line.

This is a fantastic sounding mic for the price. The only negative is that if you buy two the Mac might only recognize one at a time if they have the same serial like mine did.

I've used this for years to allow older serial based equipment to work with newer hardware and it's been perfect. Currently using it with a Mutoh SC-650 as it was easier than finding a laptop with a DB9 port. I'd have no hessitation is buying another as and when the situation requires it. Recently went to set-up a mac book to cut graphics and was surprised to find current mac support on such an old adapter as well. Nice that it's not been abandoned.

Purchased at the same time as my Mac Book Pro. When I checked the warranty by serial number with Apple, it was already enrolled for a total of three years. Awesome!

Works equally well with both Windows and Mac and switches between them with a simple butotn press.

This more than doubled my speed from the Cisco I was using.

I have a one button Mac mouse- rediculous. This is great and quickly switches between MacBook and iMac.
