Test Iphone Lightning Cable With Volt Meter

Excellent authentic Apple power adapter for plugging iPhone lightning cable to wall outlet. B&H always has those tidbits we cannot live without, thank you!!

I use this to connect anything with a standard headphone cable to my iPhone Lightning port (older selfie stick, older Square reader, earbuds and headphones).

The killer app for this device (for me) was that connecting the receiver to an iPhone with the usb-c to lightning cable maintains discrete stereo separation for recording to several video applications. Tested working on ProMovie and MoviePro. The magnets are very capable of holding the transmitters onto a shirt during vigorous activity.   )) significant note: Noise cancellation only works when conveying the signal through the receiver to a camera or smart phone.

This is an adapter, NOT a cable. That said, as an adapter it does it's job well. I have used it to plug my iPhone (Lightning) into my PC (both USB-C and USB-A) to transfer files and it worked without a hitch. Useful as an adapter, but not long enough to be called a cable by any means.

This charger had no problem quickly charging an iPhone 8 using a ToughTested USB-A to Lightning cable also purchased from B&H.

In order to use my old iPhone 5c with the Rode Micro microphone, this cable was necessary. I adapted it to my iPhone 7 lightning port as a test and it didn't work. I didn't investigate because the plan was to use the mic with the old phone anyway, so it might have worked and could have been my set up.

I almost got the cheaper version without the voltmeter and the lights. Glad i didn't. The volt meter lets you know what you are working with. It doesn't change anything. But it is nice to know,and it looks cool. The lights are quite useful to see your controls in a dim lit room. When I purchased it was on sale and a great deal. It is worth the money at the regular price.

Lets me pick out the batteries that need more work or are just done. I have real good volt meter but it takes a lot less time to put them in the charger, that I have to do anyway. I have a bunch of the same batteries so its helpful have the LCD indicate which one is not as good. Plus you charge up to 8 at a time each and each gets a full charge.

Was nervous to use this with my R5 but after testing it with my volt meter and confirming that the output was good I hooked it up! So great to be able to run the R5 off of a V-mount battery!

Plug and play. Great for iPhone with lightning adapter for the headset.
