[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This label printer was simple to set up and get started with. I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. I had a chance to test out the Burris Thermal Riflescope at a range next to a pile of other thermal scopes (Pulsar, ATN, etc). The BTR outperformed all the other products in terms of refresh rate and ease of use. It was right at the top level of image quality and it had features that I wouldn't hunt without like HOT TRACK. I had my mindset on Burris and then I found out the price point, I can practically buy two of these for one of any other lower-performing competitor. 5 |

I was contacted by my account manager at Label Power who advised the LX900 would be discontinued, as my label printer is quite a vital piece to the on-going nature of my business I was quite down reluctant at first. Once I understood the parts would no longer be available I decided to upgrade and was pleased at the outcome 5 |
