Test My Speaker

Great Sound!!! Before to bought this speaker, I did think in a other brand in order to test it (Beat, Harman K and Sennheiser) but when read about this speaker, I decide bought it, already i have a Portable Smart Speaker & Smart Speaker 500 and they are amazing!

I was so excited to get to test this out just in time for the summer - and let me tell you - that sound is loud and full! The bass is full but the treble and mids are pretty clear too (just as long as you don’t turn it up all the way). It’s a hefty speaker but the handle helps with that. And I just love that it charges by usb-c - since for the most part that’s the only charging cable I really possess. As someone with neuropathy issues and someone who is neurodivergent and therefore sometimes need to be in control of my sensory input more than the average person - this really does it for men the buttons are easy to push so my numb burning fingers don’t hurt too badly when controlling the speaker - and the max gets loud enough to give me the level of sensory input I need - just short of using some nose qc ultra headphones instead for something a little more personal. The speaker runs for a good 20 hours so I’ve only really had to plug it in to charge it once now - pretty convenient. Honestly if I had any complaints about the speaker it would be that the mids can get a little muddy if you’re not too careful with the volume. But otherwise - no issue.

We ordered the Qbox from Whirlwind for test equipment, the features of cable testing, tone generator and built-in speaker were the reasons for the purchase. I had intended its first use to be testing a press feed plate but another tech needed to test audio sends to pull down ceiling boxes for recording devices and was very pleased on the change from an AC powered speaker he originally planned on using to the much smaller battery powered unit and the size to a smaller more manageable sized unit for testing in several location on site decreasing the clients down time and techs time on site. The Qbox is tested and true piece of test gear throughout many industries and I don't think I would change anything. I definitely recommend this to anyone with audio in their profession.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed by the JBL Charge5. It has great weight to the speaker. I love that the speaker was wrapped in a cloth to keep it beautiful and protected in the box.  The instructions and a cord comes in a flimsy box. But overall it was in nice and sturdy packaging. Of course I took the instructions out and noticed it says waterproof. However I did not test out that claim I cant wait to place this in the bathroom and test out how well this speaker will work out for us.  I turned on the speaker and was able to make a quick Bluetooth connection to my phone. The Charge5 is loud, which I did not expect for it to sound so good while being all the way turned up. A lot of speakers I’ve had become distorted but not the Charge5. The sound stayed clear and there is a party boost on this speaker to make the sounds better for each song or sound you play on the Charge5 with more speakers you attach. The Charge5even charges your phone even while playing what you want on the speaker.  I was really hoping that I could try to connect this to my TV. However I think my TV is being stubborn and will not connect to the Charge5. I am glad I got this speaker. My daughter now wants one and we like music when taking showers so this speaker. This will make a great gift for her. Another great product made by JBL. Another happy customer.

This speaker is excellent, it works very well, it has a high volume and no noise, it works even over distances. It is easy to use and connect to the telephone device. My husband and I loved it!

We installed our speaker in a tractor cab to help us hear over equipment, and man could we hear. I was sitting in the cab when we turned it on to test and my dad was out on the ground with his handheld. When his voice came through, I jumped a little.

My son is so happy about this speaker! It’s an upgrade from his series 3.

Fine lens, but should come with a tripod ring.....I ordered one separately! My informal test on a metal wall-hanging suggested sharpness at 400mm and f 6.3
