I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |

This appears to be well-made and, despite what some other reviewers state, the battery seems to be easily removable and replaceable if ever need be. I'm using it solely to keep my home network (ARRIS TG1682G Xfinity Gateway) and security hub (iSmartAlarm CubeOne HUB) running in the event of a power outage. I flipped the circuit breaker to test it and it kept my network/security running for over 2 hours and appeared to still have some juice left when I ended the test. As an added bonus, it also has a single USB power port that I can use in a pinch to charge my mobile phone or tablet. This unit fits my needs for a reasonable price. 5 |

Bought this as an upgrade to another portable hard drive I have for when I'm shooting on the road. It's super fast and I don't have to worry about a spinning disk since it's solid state. Also, being solid state it seems to draw less power from my laptop. The biggest plus is the extra speed though. Great little hard drive 5 |
