This switch is a good value/good quality switch--as any unmanaged switch should be, it is just plug-and-play...I've haven't' actually tested the speeds, etc, but seems to work fine for my smaller network needs. 5 |

I opened the box, briefly read the instructions. The device has a 4-position slide switch to determine the mode of shutter operation (single, consecutive, timed, etc). There is also a dip-switch on both devices to select the operating frequency(s) of your particular devices. I then plugged in the cable and mounted the main unit on the camera hot-shoe, and tested with the remote successfully and was able to test while taking single photos. I have not yet tested range or anything other than beyond this, but I think it will do exactly what I wanted. 5 |
