The Computer Guy Central Coast

I've used this lens for about a month shooting up and down the coast of central California. This lens is extraordinary. It is highly resolving and sharp with zero vignetting, even at f1.4. Shot wide open the lens has a gorgeous band of sharpness and bokeh galore. Shot at f5.6, it's incredibly sharp throughout the range. The construction was stellar. The click stops on the aperture ring click positively into place and the focus is buttery smooth. I wasn't expecting it to be this good to be honest with you. It's as good as, or dare I say, even better than my Leica lenses.

I live right on the ocean on the Central Coast Oregon where it rains almost every day of the year and there are giant waves and tons of saltwater spray. (Of course that's where the great seascape photos are!) This Lens Coat Rain Coat Pro covers my Nikon D4 and the entire Nikkor 600mm lens with room to spare. I can get both hands into the rain coat and operate all the controls on both the camera and the lens. It's well constructed and keeps the rain and salt water off my equipment.

The Mic is not the best out of the box. You must plug it into your computer, download Rode Central, and edit the settings. After that it is perfect.

This guy connects your RAW-video material to your computer and is essential if you want to see your recording material.

I couldn't add memory to my Macbook, so i got this little guy and now I have a cool extra 256GB on my computer!

who needs a MacBook Pro when this little guy does such fast stuff with the m2 chip. WONDERFUL computer.

Much better than other similar products. I,m a techie guy, and have lots of AV and computer gear.� I've purchased six of these and have had no problems at all. Highly recommend!

For those few times left you need a serial cable, and you don't have a computer built after 1995 (well, an old one, anyway), there's this guy/gal/cable. It works, the drivers installed flawlessly, the cable did its job, and I was able to lie to terminal software and tell it that a USB port was a serial port. YAY!

Love this little guy. Much easier to use than the BMD stuff and the computer control is optional not a must.� Using two for corporate presentation settings, with a HDMI over UTP/IP distribution to hit multiple screens and life is much better.
