I like to do nature but mostly bird photography. You know they are not very cooperative and my old DA 55-300mm lens with the screw drive motor was just too slow. The photos I got were nice and clear when I didn't miss the shot. So as soon it was available I grabbed this lens hoping for a big difference. Oh , I am super happy. It focus' super quick(compared to the old 55-300 mm) My photos are crisp and clear just like its predecessor, . And I am not missing shots any more. I have only had it less than two weeks. First practice photos attached. And I am really happy to have a weather sealed lens again so I can use it like my other Pentax lenses. I use it with a K-3 just needs a firmware update and they pair up nicely

I'm working on a harbor project which requires me getting out on the boats with the fishermen. Needless to say the weather isn't always cooperative and at times it has been quite wet.
