The Drums Band Instruments Used

I use this sub-snake to run from the primary snake to a group of instruments or drums. I does exactly what I would expect it to do - simplifies the setup. 5 |

This is a great mic for Horns or Drums. It's a quick install, so if you have a horn player with multiple instruments, they can easily change between them. 5 |

Bought to replace another pair of broken earbuds used as in ear monitors when I play drums with my band. My first pair of earbuds where the wire passes over and behind the ear, which I am still getting used to, but once they are in they are comfortable and sound great. Great buy as always at B&H! 5 |

I play drums in a Blues / Jazz jam band. I needed a simple stand for a Shure SM57 microphone to record the kick drum. Other short stands with a boom have to be contorted to line up with the resonant head's port hole (8 from floor to dead center). Coupled with a standard Shure mic clip, the Auray stand is perfect! The weight of the base is substantial and the price is right. 5 |

I have used several different mics to mic a flute in a loud band and the leakage from the drums usually competes with the flute. With the i2, that is over for me. Our flute player was a few feet from the drum kit and was barely picking up drums. The caridod is the way to go. The tonal quality is outstanding. It comes with a cork lined clip but it still picks up the valve noise in between songs if your musician is fiddling with them. It is very noticeable. While playing, I had no problem getting plenty of gain out of the flute. Used with ULXD1 beltpack. I am very happy with this mic. 5 |

As a singer for my band I was looking for a mic that will pick up my vocals to match the loud guitars and drums. This mic not only delivered well for a life performance. It also helps that it has the retro look and is a heavy piece of gear. If you want a clear sound mic then this is it hands down. 5 |

I have only used these speakers once but suffice it to say I am very impressed with sound level and quality of sound!! I play in a three piece wedding band, drums, bass and guitar. I had a gig at an outside venue and decided to test these speakers out there. I had been led to believe the venue was smaller and guests would number about 150. When I got there the place was bigger than I expected and there were a bit more than 200 guests. To top it off, the dance floor was located a ways from the band. When I fired them up and did the sound check I knew that the speakers were going to handle the event just fine. I used a bass drum mic and an overhead for the drums. I also put the guitar and and a little bass guitar through the speakers. These speakers put out some surprising volume and quality sound. The vocals sounded very nice and clear. Granted, these speakers are and upgrade from the $800 to $900 per speaker I was using, but nevertheless these Yamaha bring the volume and quality of sound that IS the next level. I can only Imagine how they sound with the Yamaha subs which I plan on getting soon. I am very satisfied with my purchase. And bottom line, these speakers make my band sound better, and that is good for business. 5 |

Used this for vocals and it makes a really big difference in quality than just direct through an interface. Can't wait to try this on other instruments. 5 |

I run a pro studio, and these are great for isolating tracks for the musicians, of which I am one as well. Used mostly on drums, vocals, and acoustic instruments to maintain their sonic integrity when tracking. They are close enough to the Beyerdynamic DT880 Pros I use most of the time to get the job done without any fuss, and at a decent price point. 5 |

Used for a vocal mic for a touring rock band. My last one was great, and would have lasted forever...too bad it was left behind. Didn't hesistate to buy another. Rock solid gear. 5 |
