Nothing could've prepared me for how truly massive this thing is... Aside from a tape measure. Barely fits in my studio, but works like a charm. It would be nice if the tape was a little less intense due to it wanting to rip the paper but it works like a charm.

It's bigger than I expected. Probably should have pulled out a tape measure. Very well built. All in all, exactly as advertised.

USB mics are the easiest way to travel and record on the road. I have the Snowball and this mic is WAY better for sound quality, direction array and ruggedness. It will take a beating and still sound GREAT.

I have used numerous brand of gaff tape and this is the best performer. All of them will adhere very well so the true measure of the tape is residue and ease of tearing. Visual Departures rates tops in both. Buy with confidence.

This is a very easy product to use. The Grid for Halfdome comes rolled up (like a tape measure). All you need to do is unroll-it and attach using the velcro tabs. Removing it, is just the reverse process. Couldn't be made any easier. Does a very nice job of limiting the spread/spill of light from my light box. Pros: rolls up into a nice tight package. Doesn't take up much room.

I've been using a metal tape measure, like most people, for my whole life. This is my first cinematographer's tape measure and it has changed the professionalism on my shoots. My actors are much less nervous around this soft tape than they are with those clanging, rigid, and obtrusive traditional tape measures. Wind up is easy and the size is great for a 65-footer. I don't suspect I'll be buying another for several years.

Easy to use, solid background with seamless paper. I carry a small tape measure with me to keep even. Glad I made the investment.

This tape measure is a nice one. Marked in feet and meter, smooth to extract and wind back up, and plenty long enough for most shoots. The markings seem very accurate.

I read some say this does not enough range, well maybe in a huge church or other building that may be true but it works just great for me. I did not measure it but it is a good 50-60 feet so the is perfect for me and it is great to use. I love the macro mode.
