The First Cameras Were

Nice to have these readily available now. Were not easy to find in 2022 when Z9 first came out.

Arrived as scheduled. Were fresh and worked as advertised

First off - don’t believe the L Mount junk everyone is saying. There is a large offering of lenses releasing soon and the F4 24-105 is so incredible it could come glued to the camera and I doubt I’d care! Additionally, I have the sigma EF adapter and use a Canon 50mm 1.4 and a Canon 70-200 2.8 and they look insanely good as well on this camera. Second - I came from GH5 AND Sony A9 AND Sony A7iii... this camera replaced ALL THREE off those cameras with flying colors even before the Vlog upgrade that’s about to drop! User Interface - Nothing beats Lumix! Color Science - Very good. Low Light - Beats even the Sony’s Focus - Photos, completely useable... not quite as fast or accurate as Sony A9 but very very close. Video, No less reliable than the Sony. Meaning that even on both cameras you’re going to have to watch these cameras depending on what you’re filming and make sure they nailed it. I struggle no less with this than with the Sony.

Got these for the 2024 eclipse. Worked great. Were better than that cardboard ones I also bought

First I should point out that I've had no experience with other available LANC compatible controllers. I read reviews and considered a few over the last couple of years but did not buy. I picked up the VZRock to help with one of two cameras I recently used side by side to video a Holiday program. After the fact, I wish I had bought two. VZRock made it so easy to adjust zoom while panning (or not) without removing a hand from the tripod. All other control options were fully compatible as well. I was very impressed. The zoom rocker is very responsive and allows much better control than my cameras short throw sliding controller. Control buttons are also laid out in an easy to access manner especially when considering the thumb is used most often. The mounting bracket adjustment allows for a variety of tripod handle thicknesses. I suppose there will always be some way to improve a product but for now I can not think of one for the VZRock.

First of all, this is the first handheld gimbal I've owned and I'd been waiting to order it since they announced it. I was upgrading from the DJI Ronin M and liked DJI's tuning features on that. I'm shooting on a Canon 6D Mark II with a 16-35mm f/4 IS lens. Pros: Easy to balance and learn the functions of. The trigger on the front makes it possible to lock onto a direction for filming while you look ahead where you're walking. Joystick helps redirect the camera for a low or high angle shot. Cons: Manfrotto plate doesn't exactly fit on Manfrotto tripod heads due a peg that sticks up on the heads. It does reach the tightener though and attaching to a tripod isn't an issue. Limited support for cameras with the follow focus. Not necessary but hopefully that'll improve in the future to include Canon cameras.
