The Fourth Generation Cellular Phone Use A

Metabones listens to customer's voices. I complained the hardware problems about the previous generation last year. They made huge improvements and came up with this Fifth generation quickly. I made the same tests on this adapter as a comparison to the fourth generation and found that the misalignment problem has gone. If you own the fourth generation and observed some poor contact issues, it was caused by the misalignment of the guide pin. The best solution is upgrade to fifth generation. I have used this adapter for a few months now and so far so good. I will update the review later if I found any problem.

I connected this to a first and fourth generation iPad Pro with LTE. Connects to the headset port on first gen iPad Pro using included adapter. Used Apple USB C to headset adapter for fourth generation iPad Pro. I also needed to add an additional 25 ft extension cable for my use case. This created a problem with the fourth generation iPad Pro detecting an external microphone, but this device is not to blame. I live streamed church survices direct from Facebook and the audio was great. Being over 25 feet away, the built in iPad microphones was not picking up the voices - even using the building PA. Very inexpensive solution to my problem - highly recommended.

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

Use this with JK Audio SportMix to interface with *newer* cellular phones. Today's Android and IPhones require a 4-conductor cable to work properly with the mixer. Simple replacement to standard 3-conductor cable. Works flawlessly with new phones for much better clarity over the air.

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

I use this interface to send our church service audio over a conference line via cellular phone. Transmission is crystal clear!! Conference callers have been impressed by the clarity of the audio. Recommended product. 100% Satisfied. Would purchase again.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.
