Works great and the length is something I can't get from electronic stores like Frys or Guitar center.

New Ox Box for the lowest price around...seriously undercut Guitar Center and Sweetwater!

This headset is not offered at stores like SamAsh (who makes it) or Guitar center. They will pull out the much higher priced headsets which DON'T work with the lower priced transmitters. The other mikes are too power hungry. This is perfect and works great with my Samson ST-5 transmitter pack and my Samson speaker with built-in receiver. All battery, light and powerful. I am very satisfied with this.

I've been using the same basic guitar center mic stand for almost a decade, and I needed something great to replace it. I've had my eye on this one for a while, and Im so glad I pulled the trigger for it.

Went to Guitar Center and tried on some contenders - Sennheisers and Audio Technica, in the range of $150 - $300 - They all felt like they were crushing my head. These Sony's (or which I already owned 1 pair) are the only ones I can stand for hours at a time. Super light and just really comfy. Nice little bag to keep them in and they're also MUCH smaller to pack and travel with than the others, a big plus when packing for a flight for example! Just really great. Only flaw - I anticipate the earpiece covers may start to flake (my others did) but even if that happens I'd still opt for the comfort of these cans. If SONY could solve that issue they would have 100/100 of my vote. Right now it's 95/100.:)

After a miserable encounter with Guitar Center and my money being held hostage for 3 weeks when I had nothing of theirs. Anywho... B&H was same price. I saved on the taxes by getting a Payboo card. And the gear was shipped very fast. I’m an overly excited with my new layout and the speakers sound great. Great for a small home studio.

I used this stand to mic guitar amps that sit low to the ground. It proves to be sturdy with a good center of balance so it won't tip over. Nothing negative to say about it.

If youre looking for the ultimate in stability, this thing cant be beat. Though I havent had much time with it yet, I can tell that the TR424 will be a long term solution.  Strengths:  1. Just wait until you see/feel this thing, and try to keep your language clean at that first blush. EVERYTHING is made of carbon or finely milled metal. I can find no weaknesses. 2. Individual tension adjustments for the legs to stay at the angle you left them at the apex. For my work (Real Estate), I loosen just one apex joint as its easier to walk through interior doorways with one leg floppy. 3. Spirit level ON the apex. IMO, every tripod should have this. 4. Call the company and youll get a human who answers the phone and knows what hes talking about. Super nice guys too. That goes a long way in my book and I love to support companies like this. Weaknesses: 1. Its BIG. Youre not going to want to hike 30 miles with this thing. For my purposes thats fine, but be advised that this tripod will make your last one look like a toy. 2. No center column option. Okay look, I shoot a lot of brackets and flambient, so NOT having a center column is advantageous to that work as the tripod will ultimately be more solid....however, center columns make leveled height adjustment WAY easier and workflow faster. If theres any company who could pull of a solid one, Im convinced Promediagear is that company. Promediagear. Please work on a removeable center column retrofittable option for this tripod. It would then be absolutely perfect!
