The Magic Hour Photography

The challenge of low light photography is fun during the magic hour with this lens. Also lessons the burden of tripods in capturing interesting images “on the run”.

Ordered this guy for my Z6ii. The two batteries it holds is more than enough juice to photography an entire eight-hour wedding day. It's more expensive than I would have liked, but now that I have it, I'm glad I bought it. It's a tank, super solid. It also makes the camera look more serious...if that matters to you!

I saw the low price and pretty good reviews and tried this. I really got it for blue hour and night photography. If you have a situation where you can use the manual focus it's excellent. The 1.4 aperture is great at night esp if you are doing panoramas as the corners don't matter as much. Sharp, good color and light. I am really liking it. DOF shallow for astrophotography so you may need to do focus stacking. For night cityscapes it's fantastic.

I work in the Photography industry as a digital technician. That means I take my 2-16in MacBook Pro’s,hard drives and 27 inch monitor on my cart for jobs in studio or outside. My 2 Eco Flo Deltas 1300 checked all the for being outside without running a noisy Honda generator. Typically I can run my computer quick minute for 5 hours and have 40% battery left (depending on the brightness setting of the monitor). I can charge the Ecoflo in the Production RV for 45 minutes to an hour and be back at 90%. So having 2 of these for 10 to 12 hour day works great for me. And they are much quieter than Honda generator with a 25 foot extension cable to keep the noise away from me.

Gives a very nice look to blue hour photography (photos taken shortly after sunset). Solid filter. Nice color

I do a lot of nature photography from a blind often waiting an hour or more for the right moment to trip the shutter on a predetermined area. This enables me to sit back and relax without having to be finger on the trigger the whole time and of course reduces any camera vibration on the tripod.

The Magic Arm allows great control over remote camera positioning for my sports photography. Package comes with all accessories necessary to mount my remote camera in a variety of unusual circumstances and positions. Great product for a reasonable price!

I have used these products since Star Trek was on the first time. They have always worked well. Silver based photography is almost gone, along with the magic that went with it. I am trying to set up a darkroom and expose my kids to that magic before it is completely gone.

Day by day, I am finding myself, without this, there is no magic in photography. Great smoothness, detailing, lowlight portrait photography. Love it !!!
