The Sims Television Stand

Perfect for combat flight sims

I'm a television and film professional and I purchase Matthews products every chance I get. This stand will not disappoint.

If you'd like more flexibility with your television, then hanging on the wall, and you want to be able to move it to various locations, this is the only stand to get. It's completely stable, infinitely strong, reasonably priced and very easy to move. I highly recommend it.

This is the second FPS6000 stand I purchased. Both are used to hold and elevate LED Smart TV's to prevent mounting to apartment walls. This stand is holding a Samsung 49 UHD Curved television and the other stand is holding a 40 Samsung LED television. The 49 television met the weight requirements for the mount and the TV is attached using VESA mount extension arms attached to the mount (photo attached). The stand is well constructed and sturdy enough to hold the television without shaking even when raised. It definitely needs to be on a level surface. The legs can extend further which will provide additional stabilization. I would suggest if using for speaker or display - to add a sandbag weight particularly if it will be in high traffic area. The stand is light enough to pack and carry in light stand bag when used to hold the 40 TV when used as mobile display.

the arc Soundbar sits in front of the television on a stand and I have added a pair of symfonisk bookshelf speakers to the side of the main sitting area to create a surround sound effect.I hope at a future date to add the subwoofer.

This is a must have for flight sims, I use it exclusively for DCS and my warbird game has improved dramatically. Having Toe brakes is essential for taxiing and for F-14 carrier ops. They're super comfortable and I rest my feet on them even when I'm just messing around on my pc. It seems outrageous to spend this kinda money on something that is supplemented with twist sticks for beginner but I can assure you your ability and immersion will improve with this set up.

So much better than being stuck at 35mm (23mm), if you like versitility and film simulations this is a must. If you like the X100 series in any form but want different focal lengths this is the option for you. Even the kit lens is nice, I love that there is a digital apature ring, it is a variable apature lens, but the apature ring does let you manually select the apature as it scrolls like a apature control wheel for the lens on the camera, the only limits are the focal length you are at when selecting the apature. Love the kit lens performance, could not be happieer for this kit setup. I have Sony full frames (A7M4 & A7RV) but love to shoot with film sims too, if you like film sims or film and want digital, this is the camera, if you don't want to leap to Medium format...Thank you BH.

If you like flight sims or want to play starwars squadrons with the ultimate controls you will want this flight stick. Quality is pretty good, love that you can switch out the buttons manually to fit your grip.

The optical method of determining position is excellent. Spring is a little strong (only one for all functions - can't be adjusted or removed) but getting used to it and now consider it good exercise. :) Base is very weighted but I used the attachment holes in the bottom to add a piece of wood so I can clamp it to my desk for rock solid support since I get crazy when driving race sims with it. I'd probably rate it 4.5 stars since as others have mentioned, the buttons are a little cheap feeling but do work well. I didn't like the thumb rest as another mentioned but you can easily remove it an add the left hand blank cover so it's more generic in feel. Also, the stick button positions take some getting used to. (I use the fire button for throttle and center back button for braking.) I like the twist grip for rudder on flight sims but didn't like it for racing steering. I use the left/right for that. Note, the rest of this review is toward B&H where I purchased it from. It was listed as new but was obviously an open box product, maybe floor demo or return. No warranty card and packing wasn't sealed. Everything works however and not scratched up so I'll live with it. Just a heads up to potential customers.

Great quality for the price. Works great when flying helicopters in flight sims. Would recommend.
