Thermal Labels And Printer Paper

I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!

I initially bought the QL-800 because it was an inexpensive thermal printer and I am starting a home-based business on the cheap. With just using the sample rolls of labels and tape, I was very impressed with the quality printing and ability to have red too, instead of just black on the labels. It's very easy to swap out the roll for tape or labels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brother thermal labels print a crisp image that easily peels from the backing. This size is ideal for return address labels on large envelopes. I also printed organizational labels and then cut to size. I plan to buy more sizes for future projects. They come in a large variety of sizes and are easy to install into my QL1100 Brother printer.

I use this to make wine bottle labels on an inkjet printer and they look terrific!  Unlike paper labels, the ink doesnt bleed so the graphics or photos look great, and if they get wet the ink doesnt run.  They also peel off in one piece when I want to reuse the bottles.

I had been printing shipping labels on sticker paper, which would never line up to the top edge, so I had to cut them out of the middle of the paper. It was a pain and a waste. Now I press print and the QL-1100 is all like, "I got this" and shoots it out in two seconds. It was super easy for me to set it up. I have a Dell computer. I'm not technically savvy and it was a snap. I love, love, love this printer. I had been on the fence about buying a thermal printer, and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long.

I have been using this HP photo paper for over ten years to print case labels for DVDs. The paper worked well when used in my old HP printer, and it works equally well in my new Brother printer.

The label printer is easy to use and very fast at printing stamps or labels.
