Before calibrating my monitor printing was just not working. After calibrating the monitor it was much better but still wasn't quite right. Calibrating the paper for your printer which is what this kit allows you to do is really the best. I know some companies will profile your printer on their paper but with this you can do it yourself and not have to wait for the profile to come back ... this takes very little time, is very easy to use and works brilliantly!

After years of not printing I decided to get back into the game and this printer is awesome. The quality is simply amazing and its really easy to set up and use. Worth every penny the Canon printers have really stepped up their game!

I do fine art and I use this matte canvas allot. After printing on my Canon iPF6400 printer I use a clear gloss gel to make the color pop and to give the art brush strokes. Been using this for many years and it has never let me down.

Needed a short cable to connect thermal printer to computer. Functions well.

If you are using an Epson printer, you should also be using Epson paper. Too easy, results are great....

Too expensive !! I may purchase a different brand of printer nrxt time.

After trying a few in this range I would say this thermal performs comparably above its price point. I am impressed with the image quality and features. The on board reachable battery system is a welcome improvement for this line.

Got it for some lith printing. In Moersch EasyLith it tends towards a pretty aggressive--sometimes TOO aggressive--orange tone that I was able to bring down to a nice gray in Selenium toner. They paper has a great weight to it, and the dried prints are really pleasant. I admit I haven't tried it in normal developer, aside from test strips, so I can't speak to its quality there. But for lith printing, definitely give it a try!
