Thermal Printer Lifespan Of Print Head

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

Unbelievable lifespan

My previous Brother all in one printer lasted 3 years beyond the average lifespan, so I definitely planned upgrading to the same brand. A Pricey model but worth it and i was sure from top reviews it outperforms the competition's similar models. So far, printing as lovely as expected and very fast too. Easy to operate, but need to watch official tutorial videos. Not sure how long ink cartridges last yet but seems efficient.

Excellent product. B&H was out of the ones with the surface I usually use, so I picked the thermal print surface type. It's also great to write on.

Needed a short cable to connect thermal printer to computer. Functions well.

White it is too early to judge on 1. Ink cost 2. Print head clogging, it seems to be a nice printer. Have used it only for few months. Colors are perfect and speed is acceptable.

I am pretty with it so far. Two things I think both B&H and Canon can improve: - B&H: Shipping took a bit of time, it's 12 days for me from the day I ordered until it landed at my door - Canon: This unit uses the same print head as the TM-200, TA-20, TM-250, etc...so quality is pretty good. That said, this one has a very small ink cartridges (55ml x 5), not even the size of ink cartridges in the smaller pro-1000 (85ml x 12). I assume that I will need to change cartridges regularly and the ink cost per ml is almost double expensive than the same ink in the 130ml and 300ml cartridges of other printer with this same print head. Canon should make this printer ink upsizable, meaning that it can accept larger cartridges. There's an empty compartment on the left size that can be used for it.

Great paper for this printer. No type on the back. Leave printer power on to avoid head cloggs. Pump can eventually fail, but better than a clogged head. If head clogged, run one cleaning cycle, then let sit for an hour or more, or over night. Print head clogg check. Print something once a week to avoid cloggs. This is a great printer, but finickey. Prints are better color than RA4, and this has a wider gamut.
