Thermal Printer Paper Shortage

This is the only photo printer I have used for my photo booth business. Pretty easy to use. There is definitely a shortage, but I was notified when printer was in stock.

This little adapter has been tough to find, with the shortage of electronics parts that even now, is still going on. After much searching, I noticed that B&H had it in stock, so I grabbed one. Delivery was quick, and it allows me to print without hooking my computer up to a USB cable connected to the printer, or using a flash drive. You will need to determine the IP address once this is attached to the printer and it can see your WiFi network. That is easily determined by going into the settings and printing out the configuration sheets. Knowing the IP address allows you to wirelessly see supply levels, notifications, and other settings. In my mind, this purchase was a no-brainer!

The paper was delivered on short notice when other suppliers said there was a shortage in the states. BH always delivers and in time and in good shape.

I am new to the photo booth business and started right as the paper shortage began. I joined to waiting list to purchase an extra media kit and missed the first opportunity. However the next day, I received a notification again and was able to purchase this one. Thanks for the opportunity and I will be getting on the waitlist again to hopefully purchase a few more.

Needed a short cable to connect thermal printer to computer. Functions well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a different thermal printer model and had issues with the feeder and app. This Brother printer is perfect for my small business needs and fits my 4x6 shipping labels for packaging. It was fairly easy to set up and get started with the online and app features. So far I'm happy with the quality of the print and capabilities to make adjustments in app. I love not having to purchase ink for this thermal printer which saves me time and money!

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I've never had a recording or playback problem with these DVD+Rs and the white inkjet coating works great with my Casio CW-100 thermal disk printer. Not all inkjet coatings work with the thermal printer but the coating on these DVD+Rs works perfectly.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!
