Thermal Printer That Uses Regular Paper

Uses 12 AA Batteries - Canon only uses 8. Built in thermal protection and remaining battery capacity indicator, neither of which is available on the Canon unit. And it's massively cheaper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this printer in exchange for my honest opinion. The printer is very large, it does require a lot of space. However, it prints on regular 8 1/2" x 11" paper as well as large format regular and bond paper. This printer can be used to print blueprints, large art projects or anything that you need to print. It prints in black and white and also in color. The color cartridges are small and easy to replace/insert. The large tray to catch the printed papers falls in front of the printer, so you'll need to accommodate extra room in your office/home for that, but it's large enough to catch the big printed blueprints, etc. that you print. I would recommend this printer for quality printing projects as it does not smear or smudge when you print in black and white or color. The printer is very easy to set up and use. I can print from anywhere in my office or house with the remote feature with the HP Smart App. It's also sustainable & it has a compact design. I am working from home and it beneficial for use in my “home office” as well as it also prints on regular sized 8 1/2" x 11" paper easily. It prints quickly and when printing on the large paper, the print quality is quite superior. The large print colors are no smeared, smudged or grainy at all. The printer produces clear and precise lettering as well as pictures. My son had to print a large picture for his art college class ad it turned out beautiful. I would definitely recommend this printer for professional and home use. I received this HP DesignJet printer at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I used this paper to print a portfolio of loose prints and the results were great! The paper is heavy enough to be handled and is seductive to the touch. The bright white is a softer white than a regular photo paper but still neutral in color (as opposed to the regular rag paper which definitely makes the images a little warm). If you 're not going to mat the prints, you will need to get the curl out. I rolled the prints (in the opposite direction of the curl) around a cardboard tube with a diameter of about 18 for a couple of days and that worked. Overall, very happy! Will definitely use this paper again. If printing on an Epson 4800, you may need to set the suction to -4 (through the printer set up in Photoshop) to prevent stray ink on the edges and must set the plat. gap on the printer itself to widest!

Needed a short cable to connect thermal printer to computer. Functions well.

This was given to me as a gift and I am very happy to have it. The regular printer I have is not really made to print photos, this one is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously owned a different thermal printer model and had issues with the feeder and app. This Brother printer is perfect for my small business needs and fits my 4x6 shipping labels for packaging. It was fairly easy to set up and get started with the online and app features. So far I'm happy with the quality of the print and capabilities to make adjustments in app. I love not having to purchase ink for this thermal printer which saves me time and money!

These print well in my Casio CW-50 Thermal Printer and I don't ever recall having a bad burn with one of them. Although they are rated at 16x, I usually burn at 8x and have never had a problem.

I've never had a recording or playback problem with these DVD+Rs and the white inkjet coating works great with my Casio CW-100 thermal disk printer. Not all inkjet coatings work with the thermal printer but the coating on these DVD+Rs works perfectly.

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This label printer was simple to set up and get started with. I love that it auto-senses the size of the labels when you load them, so you don't have to configure the software for the labels you select. Switching rolls of labels is fairly simple. This is a direct thermal label printer, so the labels do fade over time, especially if exposed to sunlight (compared to the longer-lasting, thermal transfer labels from much more expensive printers). The labels look fresh and crisp when newly printed and are great for printing postage or shipping labels. The compact size means it's always ready to go without taking up much desk space. Great value and a quality product!
