“Peak makes great stuff, but it’s a phone case, how good could it be?” It’s really, really good. The nicest case I’ve ever owned. “They say it’s thin, but you can see the depth of the mount on the back, so it can’t be that thin. And doesn’t the thickness affect the efficiency of the wireless charging?” It seems as thin as my former Apple Leather Case. The mount is brilliantly engineered and very thin (and kind of feels good to run your finger over). There is no adverse effect on wireless charging, and the phone doesn’t get any warmer than normal using my MagSafe charger. “Won’t the fabric eventually wear/stretch/pull out?” This is Peak Design quality all the way. The canvas seems indestructible. The seams where it attaches to the edge bumper are insanely precise and show no gaps or signs of future problems. Plus, they have that lifetime warranty… Those were my main concerns, which were quickly extinguished minutes after opening the package. It’s clear that this is the last case I’ll need (or want) for this phone, and I’ll buy another Everyday Case when I get my next phone. 5 |
