Thin Keyboard For Ipad Mini

The keyboard works seamlessly with my iPad Air. Perfect fit, super thin and folds into a compact protective cover. Well worth purchasing.

Except after the sun has set. It fits great with my iPad Mini that has a thin TPU case on it. I keep the top hood Velcroed to the top edge so I can flop it back to access the screen. One really needs a neck strap since it does add a bit of weight. It's a bit spendy but well made. If I lost it today, I'd have another one on the way tonight.

I gave my wife an 11 iPad Air to upgrade from her 8 year-old iPad Mini. She used a key board with it, so I got her this keyboard for the new one. Seeing that this keyboard has all the features of a laptop rather than the simple typing keyboard she used to use, and the larger iPad, I am wondering if this is now just a laptop with detachable keyboard? Anyway she likes it, so five stars.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Best IPad mini hood. I like it better than using the goggles.

Audio quality is way better than the mic in the iPad mini.
