We were shooting a series for Lenovo. Knowing the director's penchant for always throwing a window in frame, I grabbed another roll of 211 so we would have plenty. And we did! We were able to expose (somewhat) for the outside so that it wasn't too blown out. Clients, producers and director were happy. That means I get to work another day. Remember, you are only as good as your last job. Make it a great one. 5 |

Out of the box up and running and Esata on my laptop is nearly as fast as the internal drive so the drive appears as a seamless integration. Haven't spent the time yet understanding the system tools provided but in general I was amazed that 250G transfer only took 45 minutes which is pretty amazing considering the technology of the past. 5 |

Connection took few minutes - there are lots of cables to be rearranged. After this no issues at all. Image quality on the screen (1680x1050) from standard PC and Dell E6400 laptop are fantastic. For unknown reason the laptop did not recognize the USB gear immediately, but after reboot (living it alone alive at the switch) everything got fixed. Video camera works great connected to the back of the switch, phone jack connected to Line Out on the front panel will cut off sound from the speakers, living it only to whatever is connected to the Line Out jack. I tested the front panel USB with stick drive and RCI to USB converter - works fantastic. Highly recommend this to professionals and amateurs! It is expensive, but it deserves the money! 5 |
