I really enjoy the panel. I'm a freelance DIT and colorist and this is within my budget to improve my grading skills and abilities on set as well as at home. Big disadvantage is not having a new node button. If you're on the fence and don't want to spend that much now, you should wait until they add it on a newer model. It's easy to plag and play. Has a USB-C plug to it and it comes with a USB-C to USB-3.0 adapter cord - so if you're using the new MacBook Pro you'll need to get a USB-C cable on both ends, ironically.

I wanted to challenge myself to shooting with a manual lens and improve my portrait skills. This is a great lens to improve on both of those things. Takes very sharp, bright photos and has the aperture to work in low light.

This microphone is something that will likely grow with me as my recording skills improve. I set this up with an USB audio interface. It's surprisingly versatile. It manages to pick up pretty level sounding highs from my acoustic instruments for being a large diaphragm and is still pretty warm in the mids for vocals. Nothing overly colorful about it, which is fantastic for my use.

For background on myself, I've always been a PC tinker and some mild PC gaming but most of my gaming happens on console. This is my first current gen card since the GT series, so far it has crushed everything I throw at it with no issues! Halo, Fortnite, WoW, WoT, Civ 6, VR, and FPV Flight sims all with no issues and locked at 60hz with my monitors. It's currently in a AMD system running a Ryzen 5 5600x, 16gb drr4 3000, and B550 chipset mobo pushing to a dual dell business class monitors.
