Thunderbolt And Hdmi

This is a great little piece if you need an SDI/HDMI to Thunderbolt 3. It works reliably and is very affordable.

I connected this to my Ma ini (latest model) using thunderbolt. I daisy chained it to a thunderbolt dock which had hdmi to a LCD monitor. I not sure if speed is making a difference when opening my 2.5 TB iPhoto library, but it works.

I ordered this as I had to add one more monitor for my WFH. But I have already used only available HDMI port in my Mac Book Pro (2014 with Thunderbolt 2) As soon as i connected my monitor using HDMI port and Thunderbolt to MBP. it detected immediately.

On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive.

This is a fantastic thunderbolt 4 dock for M1 macs, which are typically notorious for having interoperability issues with thunderbolt 3 and USB-C docks. At first, I had some flickering on an HDMI to sabrent thunderbolt 4 HDMI hub but after installing the docking station software and restarting the computer, everything works perfect. Multiple keyboards and mice inputs are no issue and the thunderbolt 4 ports on the back work extremely well even with third part docks and hubs. I had a stardock USB-c dock previously and it would always flicker with HDMI, even if I was using its native port. The construction is metal and solid but tiny. Much smaller than my aforementioned previous one.

Its got two thunderbolt slots one hdmi and a DP Can be used with pc, mac, samsung phones. 100hz refresh rate , good for gaming too. This would be ideal for work from home situation where u choose to have just one monitor. Inbuilt speakers are decent. Display is vibrant

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have several Lenovo USB-C and Thunderbolt docks deployed among our staff and they are always great performers and reliable. This Hybrid dock may lack Thunderbolt support, but so do many of our AMD-powered laptops - exactly why we were seeking a USB option. I appreciate the dual-monitor options of a combination of DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, having always found DisplayPort connections to be problematic. Even higher resolution displays are solid with this dock and some quality HDMI 2.0/2.1 cables. Quickly solved a resolution issue we had connecting a different dock to a 1440p ultrawide monitor with this. I also like that the cable to connect to the computer offers an attached USB-A connector for use with systems that do not feature a USB-C connection. Very versatile, even with slightly older systems.

We use this in our living room with a late-model Macbook Pro connected via Thunderbolt - HDMI. The user interface is clear and easy-to-use, the resolution is sharp and the picture is bright enough to use in the afternoon, even without all of the shades drawn closed. Throw in a tethered lens cap and a padded case, and this projector gives you plenty of bang for your buck.

If you're trying to connect your MB Air to a wide format monitor using Thunderbolt (Mini DisplayPort) to HDMI, it won't work. The resolution is too much and will looked terrible. This cable is the ONLY solution and is very inexpensive. Simple hookup between MBA to LG 29 widescreen display.

I've used these a few time, really good thunderbolt doc with a lot of IO. Works setting up 2 external displays at 4k if your computer supports it, if you go HDMI you do need a high quality USB-c to HDMI converter, otherwise things work as expected
