Thunderbolt Cable Data Rate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thunderbolt 3 Cable by Belkin did not disappoint. Belkin is a brand that I've used for years now. The company makes very good products. The Thunderbolt 3 is a high-speed data transfer cord and is type C. Along with fast data transfer, it charges very quick as well. It's very durable and is slightly thicker than most cords. I would definitely recommend this product and the brand. It's the fastest charging cable I've seen at its price range and the fastest charging cable I currently own.

Fast spinning, easily readable, external hard drive solution. I was looking for a thunderbolt option for my new (late) 2013 27 iMac. I have 256GB of Flash storage, but I don't trust SSD to hold important data when it could be easily lost if the drive failed. Spinning disk drives, like the G-RAID, could still potentially have data saved off the platters. My 1st project used the 8TB G-RAID drive as an on-location, portable, video editing drive. Using the thunderbolt cable (supplied), the offloading, editing and overall speed of the drive were nothing short of FAST!! Very glad I didn't listen to reviews saying Thunderbolt wasn't worth the extra expense. Don't listen to them...it is noticeably effective. It does stop spinning every once and while if not in use, but will re-spin when I access finder or any files off the drive. It only takes about 5 seconds to get back up and running. The motor is slightly noticeable, but can easily tuned out when focusing on work. I have it 2 feet from my computer. The supplied Thunderbolt cable is short, but I spent the extra $30 for the longer version just to have the option in the field. Everything you need comes in the box. Its beautifully made and compliments the iMac well. In the future, I will buy more of these and daisy chain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thunderbolt cable makes it so I can do data transfers to my laptop at lighting speeds. So fast! The cable material is of good quality. A substantial cable in weight, the cable has a high quality feel to it. I can tug on it and coil it up to store it and I have had no issues with it. If you are looking for a all in one cable for everything, this is it.

I recently upgraded my phone, which meant that my dozen-odd USB-to-microUSB charging and data transfer cables were suddenly semi-useless. In the interest of not spending a ton of money on replacements, I instead got this adapter, which seems to work well. Data transfer goes smoothly, and as does charging. (So far, at least. I'm still testing the charging.) I plan to keep it with my computer for data transfer so I can use the cable that came with the phone for charging, since it seems inclined to kick up a fuss if I do otherwise. Overall, it's a solid choice, and I may get more later if my rate of acquisition of devices requiring USB-C connections outpaces my rate of new cable acquisitions.

Nicely made USB 3.0 capable extension cable. Handles high data rate without any issues. Reasonably well made.

This is a quality thunderbolt cable; not much else to say.
