Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter Supporting Cat7

This is very good CAT7 Ethernet cable at a very good price. Does what it's supposed to do.

This is the only way I could connect my 27 in. Thunderbolt Display. The adapter works with any Thunderbolt device: Ethernet adapter, hard drives, etc. Well worth the price.

After upgrading all Ethernet connections in home with multiple CAT7 cables from Monoprice, noticed an average increase download streaming speed of 10-15 Mbps on previously slower devices rubbing on home network, including Firestick with VPN active.

This a beast for pc. 10gbe over cat7 is getting my about 650 to 800mb per second transfer. I can only imagine what thunderbolt users will get. moved 20gb file in 25 seconds. I added two 1tb m.2 drives for read cache and set it up as raid 6. I also added 32gb of ram.

Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

My existing switch was becoming a bottleneck as we had more devices supporting Gb ethernet and starting to transfer large files. We pulled that out of our rack and dropped this one in and had nice fast transfers in a matter of minutes. Ou building cable plant was Cat5 but it still managed to get Gb speeds between network segments. Sometime we'll start adding some IP phones so I opted for the slightly more expensive PoE model as a future-proofing method, but haven't really tested that out.

Very happy with the MB supporting an AMD 7950X. Bios memory battery was dead on arrival. Linux support is a bit rough at the moment.
