I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. I recently built a new machine using m.2 slots for my system drive and video editing drives. This 8TB SATA SSD I'm using as storage but have been editing off it. Mostly HD files, and so far and I see no lag in comparison to the nvme drives-very fast. I've been moving files saved from my old machine to it from external drives and it's exponentially faster than my old HHD's. Since these are fairly expensive I am planning on getting two more of these over the next few months to complete my machine. I'm really happy with it!

Fabulously happy with my purchase, the extra slot for a second M.2 stick is perfect and the machine sits on my legs and is cool and comfortable to hold. I was a bit concerned about having only 8Gb memory as I tend to leave lots of tabs and windows open but no problem. The face reader tech lets me just open the cover and start to work without entering any password and it is perfect, never missing when I'm there or away, keeping my data safe.

A fantastic little machine. All the performance I need in a package that fits anywhere. It runs cool and quiet. With two M.2 SSD slots on the motherboard, I have all the fast storage I need.
