Using with Time Warner Cable Internet which is capable of up to 300 MB/s. Not much to set up. Just make sure your internet provider knows about it. Be aware it is a pure modem and does not contain an internal router or wireless access point. If you are planning on using it for a local network you will need a separate router.

Best cable modem I have ever used it boosted my internet speed and boosted my bandwidth Absolutely no legs with online gaming or 4K streaming and with multiple devices going at the same time I live in an apartment complex and I sell my Wi-Fi to about 10 or 15 of my next-door neighbors and we can all be on streaming at the same time with this cable modem and experience no legs at all it run so smoothly it's unbelievable I am very impressed I had the Arris SB8200 before the netgear cm1000 and the netgear blow the arris out of the water I can't wait for the netgear CM1100 to come out and I can wait until the netgear RAX120 to come out the day there both release together I'm going to buy them both Netgear make some of the best products in the world In my opinion and I have had all kinds of brands makes and models

I have gigabit internet and I am able to attain full speed with this cable.

I have Xfinity and one day I decide to do a speed test, I’m paying for gigabit internet and was barely getting 70 mbps with their provided router. I decided to upgrade and this thing WORKS it was an easy install, a lot smaller than the previous one and handles my internet speed easily no bottlenecks or anything. I have previously bought net gear and ended up coming back I know where my business will always be!

The Netgear CM1000 was a breeze to setup and once registered, I ran an internet speed test to find out that I was now getting the maximum speed for my service. Highly recommend it.

This modem allows me to use my gigabyte Internet to its full capacity with no problem. Speed test shows 965 MB per second Internet speed download.

I have been using this cable for 1-2 weeks since it was delivered. I have used it to connect my 2023 MacbookAir to a tp-link Archer A9 router via a Plugable model UD-6950H docking station. It seems like the internet goes in and the internet comes out OK. In the 1-2 weeks I have used this cable, I have not had the opportunity to test it in an environment where shielding is necessary, but I do enough weird stuff that it is nice to preemptively eliminate that possible root cause. The green is green. All my other cords are black, I'm not sure why. It has a nice flexibility: stiff enough to feel sturdy or durable, but not so unforgiving to remember that one time when it was wound up pretty tight by someone who didn't know any better. I wish I could be more like this cord. I would buy another one if I needed it, but that is hopefully unlikely. I can't recommend this cord over all others, I don't have the technical capacity to test and make that type of recommendation, but I'm not unhappy with its performance over the past couple weeks.

This was exactly what I needed and affordable as all get out! $ bucks and I'm now pulling the most potential out of my Samsung HDTV running Time Warner Cable. Thanks B&H!
