Time Warner Cable Modem And Wireless Router

Using with Time Warner Cable Internet which is capable of up to 300 MB/s. Not much to set up. Just make sure your internet provider knows about it. Be aware it is a pure modem and does not contain an internal router or wireless access point. If you are planning on using it for a local network you will need a separate router. 5 |

Fast Router. Feels like a quality made product, more like an industrial or enterprise product feel. I have my SB8200 cable modem on eth0, home office on eth1, and Linksys mesh network on eth2. It took me about 30 mins to setup being new to this type of router. Used basic wizard to setup. Made sure NAT was enabled. Firewall is enabled. I had to reset cable modem to get things going. I used various videos on you tube for setup help. Router CPU and RAM barely get used during testing of several 4K Video Streams, ip phone calls, file transfers, and speed tests running at the same time. My COX gigablast connection runs at full speed most of the time. I still need to do some real throughput testing, machine to machine on local network. I use Airflow and VLC to cast 4K content from home office to my living room entertainment center. I definitely noticed a time difference. It simply takes less time for actions to engage and finish. I can tell it has a better brain. Time will tell with reliability but I suspect it will be my router for a long time. So far, I'm happy with its performance. 5 |

Upon doing a lot of research between other cable modem/router combos, I finally decided the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 was the best selection to fit my needs. I live in a home that is 1850 square ft and the wireless coverage reaches in all areas of the entire house with no problem as I performed multiple speed tests and the results were very consistent throughout. The setup through the router setup management interface was seamless and very user friendly. I was able to set up my 2.4Ghz, 5 GHz, and guest wireless networks in 3 minutes. I also like the fact that you can set parental controls to manage usage time and block inappropriate websites. The Netgear ReadyShare Vault is extremely handy for me so that I can share movies, pictures, and files across the network. Overall, I would highly recommend this product! 5 |

This cable modem and wireless router is the way to go! Much better than my old setup with the cable company that I had to put a wireless router behind. It eliminated many problems and I no longer have to trouble shoot between the two of them. One device and is providing me with faster internet and wireless speeds, this modem/router is the way to go for any cable user. 5 |

I replace my Cox cable modem and wireless router with Netgear. The signal strength throughout my 2200 sqft house is great. I can even connect my outdoor TV to the internet now. I get the same speed on wireless as I do with the computer plugged into the internet. Great products. 5 |

I had my previous cable modem router combo for five years. It was definitely time for an upgrade and the Orbi seemed like a great choice and it has been for me. 5 |

I had another brand name cable modem that gave me issues from the day I purchased it. It had a garbage WiFi router built in. It wouldn’t work in the next room. So I purchased the Netgear C7000v2. I installed it and immediately saw this purchase was a very smart move. It was the first time I had WiFi service 2 rooms away. The 5g never bogged down. I continuously run 8 or more devices at any one time. I truly love my Netgear C7000v2 modem / router. 5 |
