Time Warner Internet Router Access
David | 2024-08-23 02:26:57 |
Using with Time Warner Cable Internet which is capable of up to 300 MB/s. Not much to set up. Just make sure your internet provider knows about it. Be aware it is a pure modem and does not contain an internal router or wireless access point. If you are planning on using it for a local network you will need a separate router. 5 |

I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs. 5 |

If you’re like me and live off grid and cellular is your only means to access the internet this device is amazing. It works just like my old router when I lived in the city and had internet. 5 |

I have just 2 circuits out in the shop, wired for 115, so by the time I access the internet and turn on the coffee maker, then go to microwave/toast my bagel or pastry, I was tripping the breakers. I bought this unit and put the large draw appliances on it, it appears the situation is improved. I have the APC P7GP set to manual. 5 |

It's a modem. You plug it into the wall and then into a router and you get internet. 5 |
