I bought this camera for two things. To video dogs I was grooming and to video dogs I was training. I use these videos for training new employee purposes as well as for the customers enjoyment. I've already posted one on my YouTube channel. It does come with a non waterproof back to the waterproof camera case so you can record sound better. Perfect for what I'm doing. I'm not going to submerse the camera but it may get splashed a bit when bathing a dog. It should be splash proof even with the slotted back on it. I attached it to a chest harness while I was grooming and that worked out much better than a helmet cam would have. You can see clearly everything my hands are doing. And because it's attached to a chest harness it's right under my chin so picks up sound well. Surprisingly it was not in my way at all, although I looked a bit odd with it on. This camera is TINY. Most reviewers here know the GoPro camera, but not me... regardless, here are my first impressions: Yes, the manual leaves much to be desired, but so what. When you turn it on, by default it's ready to shoot video, perhaps takes 10 seconds, but power on, then press the ok button and it's recording. Did I mention how tiny it is? LOL. For a 60 year old with failing vision, get the magnifying glass out. When shooting video, it records by default a video that resembles a fishbowl rather than a truer reflection of what you are recording. So what, I love Salvidor Dali's surrealism anyway. Crisp videos, crisp photos at high res. That's a thumbs up in my book. Nice cam!

After years of lugging my gear around in the tropics and on tiny boats and thinking I really should get a waterproof case some day, I took the plunge and couldn't be happier. It's a fantastic case in every way!

I've been shooting 4K nature video with the FZ1000 for more than a year, and this tiny camera nearly matches the image quality -- if there's enough light -- at about 1/5 the size. It's got pretty much the same features as the FZ1000, which until today was my all-time favorite camera. An incredible piece of engineering.

I purchased this clamp to hold my DSLR on a table or pole, and with a tiny GoPro video camera. The clamp opens wide enough for 2 pipe, but also securely grabs a flat piece of metal. It works well for long exposures on the DSLR when you don't have a tripod. There are several options to attach the cameras to it. It is a bit heavy, but you can't have the same quality without added weight.

As soon as I got this amazing, tiny, video camera, I put it to use doing music videos. Indoors, and outdoors, this is one fantastic piece of equipment I wish was around years ago! It's range from wide angle to telephoto, and EXCEPTIONAL sound reproduction (due to the XY mics), is by far more amazing than you would ever have thought from such a small camera. You will be astonished, as I was, at the quality of this camera. Did I mention, you won't find a video camera this good for twice the price?
