Titan Remix Edition Headphones With Mic

A must to fire up your remix decks

I've using the Titan for a very odd use: as a microphone arm for a Shure SM7b, in a location that doesn't have enough space for normal scissors-style mic arm. It has more than enough strength to support both the mic plus a gain booster plugged straight into the mic, and it allows me to swing the mic up and out of the way quite easily. Build is as you'd expect at this price: solid as a rock. I expect this to last forever. Overall: it's pricey, but worth it.

I'm a professional music educator and listen to all kinds of music from classical to jazz to marching band, to pop and rock. Audio Technica's ATH-M50x is a top-notch headphone, very clear, plenty of bass, nothing out of balance (unless the engineer mixed it that way, of course). Mine get their sound through an Audioengine D1 DAC, and it's a fantastic combination. This particular model, a limited-edition DG (for dark green), is something different from the typical black, though the green is very dark indeed. The brown leather makes a nice contrast, and I like having headphones that don't look the same a standard black. I also own these in the BL edition, with blue plastic parts and lighter brown leather. Sweet headphones for under $!

This is my second Samson G-Track Pro mic (a beautiful Silver B&H exclusive edition) that complements my first one in deep black, which is a beauty too. I have two offices and can now use the same high-performance mic at both locations.

It is said that “You are as good as the tools you work with” and I couldn’t be happier with these monitors. As a passion, I do remix work in my home studio and for the first time I am able to listen to my projects and hear amazing sounds I didn’t hear before. My work has improved so much more because of all the details these monitors provide.

It’s only been a week; but it has an a great edition.
